Founded in 1996, the biennale Air Show China is hosted in China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition Centre set in a picturesque location bordered by the mountain and the sea in west Zhuhai. Sitting on the Yeli Island off the coastal Lovers Road, the Zhuhai Grand Theatre is the first opera house on the sea in China. The two magnificent, scallop-shaped buildings in semi-transparent white stand elegantly among the rich greenness of the island. Its viewing deck offers stunning vistas of the sparkling sea and lush mountains beyond.

The largest wetland in Zhuhai, Qi'ao Mangrove Wetland Ecological Park is a 7 sqkm half-moon shaped mangrove stretch across the Qi’ao Island. Stroll down the wooden boardwalk through the leafy trees, and relax in the refreshing air, as birds flap their wings and hop around the branches. Keep your eyes wide open to see if you can catch the crabs crawling through the mudflats.
