Discover the rich ancient culture of the Southwestern Silk Road as you bask in natural hot springs in the frontier town of Tengchong. Located along the Myanmar border, Tengchong was a vital link on the ancient Southwestern Silk Road (Kunming - Baoshan - Tengchong - Mangshi - Ruili). Today, Tengchong is also known for being home to some of the most famous hot springs in China.

Our resort's design draws inspiration from local architecture and landscapes, as well as oil paper umbrellas, rice paper, shadow play puppetry and traditional Lisu costumes.
